Our annual Battle of the Sexes tournament wrapped up this weekend with excitement and friendly competition filling the lanes. With 40 bowlers participating, the atmosphere was electric as teams faced off in this beloved tradition.

In a nail-biting finish, the women’s pink team successfully defended their title for another year! The competition was fierce and came down to the final frames, showcasing the incredible talent on both sides.

Pink Team Champions

The top performers for the victorious pink team were:

• 1st place: Sandra Fox, Helen Mailer and Jackie Oliver
• 2nd place: Jan Kraft, Mary Taylor and Connie Gonsalves
• 3rd place: Diane Moore, Sophia Lee and Sandra Arner

Blue Team Standouts

The blue team put up an impressive challenge with stellar performances from:

• 1st place: Mitch Young and Hammond Gonsalves
• 2nd place: Scott Hooks and John McCallum

Adding to the fun, Al Henderson and Sue Martin took home honors for Best Theme Dress, delighting spectators with their creative approach to the event’s spirit.
