Indoor Carpet Bowling
Indoor Carpet Bowling starts in October each year...
From October through April we literally ‘roll out the carpet’ in the clubhouse and bowl indoors, using the same bowls as in the outdoor game. It is much less physically demanding, but still requires a lot of finesse, and many who can no longer participate outdoors for various reasons, find they can still bowl indoors. For outdoor bowlers, it is a good chance to keep up the skills in the winter months, not to mention keep up with your friends over a cup of tea!
Some days will be set aside at the beginning for practice sessions and for new players to try out bowling to see if they like it. All equipment will be supplied.
An approximate schedule can be seen below and this will be reformatted as necessary. There will be time slots available if you wish to start up your own group to play weekly, but apply early as space is limited.
Cost of Indoor Bowling
Already a Member? The cost of indoor bowling is included in a full membership.
The cost for all others is $100 for a Social Membership that includes indoor bowling only. There will be no extra fees to pay.
